Armenian Church, Singapore
Completed in 1835, Armenian Church of Saint Gregory the Illuminator is the oldest Christian Church in Singapore. As the name suggest, Singapore’s Armenian Church has influences of Armenian Church architecture, along with British neoclassical style.
Striking features of the Armenian Church include the impressive front portico supported on large columns, a tall spire, and a beautiful garden. Singapore’s Armenian Community was influential in the 19th century. Armenian Church has been declared a National Monument.
