Church of the Holy Family, Singapore
Singapore’s Church of the Holy Family is a Roman Catholic Church. On the outside the church has a lovely sloping roof which depicts hands praying. Inside the church, there is a stunning 16 panel round stain glass window behind the altar. Each of the 16 glasses depicts a scene from Jesus Christ’s life.
Church of the Holy Family has among the largest parishes in Singapore. The original church was founded in 1902. The old church was demolished and rebuilt; the new 4 storey Church of the Holy Family started service in 1999. In addition to the main Prayer Hall, the Church also has a Kindergarten, classrooms, a large room, choir room, a 200 capacity car park and a columbarium in the basement. In addition to the main Church, there are 3 more buildings within The Church of the Holy Family complex.
